After a three-year hiatus the festival was back in an action packed 3-day event from 5th to 7th of August 2022. This was a weekend of equestrian sport at all levels, complemented by lots of food and drink outlets and a diverse shopping village and spectacular summer weather.
Oakhurst Gin, our hand-crafted London Dry Gin was present at the Oakhurst Living stand where we launched our new 20cl bottle. An adorable little bottle that has been described as both a personal and a handbag size!!
This 3-day event across a weekend of glorious blue skies and warm sun, showcased an English summer in the countryside.
Deep in the beautiful Cotswolds on the Gatcombe Park Estate, a 700-acre estate near Minchinhampton. It is home to Anne Princess Royal and her two children, Zara Tindall and Peter Philips and their families.
The weekend had a fabulous, chilled vibe with lots of families enjoying a fun day out. In the arena there was many great events every day, Dressage, Show Jumping, Shetland Pony Grand National, Falconry displays and parades of Beagles and Hounds. Of course, there was also the wonderful Cross-country event on the Saturday and Sunday.
The event attracted thousands of visitors, from families having a day out to avid horse event fans, and of course competitors, camping for the whole 3 days.
Many of these visitors stopped by the Oakhurst Living stand to sample and purchase Oakhurst Gin. The feedback we had was lovely with many positive comments. People love the taste of Oakhurst Gin and the beautiful bottle and Oakhurst branding. Our new 20cl size bottle was greatly admired and many were taken home for a refreshing G&T in the garden.
